Glenn Milgraum, P.C. is a professional corporation formed for the specific purpose of maintaining a legal practice to service clients' special needs. Our principal attorney is Glenn P. Milgraum, Esq. After decades of handling all aspects of litigation and transactional work, our firm now exclusively handles Arbitration, Mediation and other forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR").  Our primary mediator, who has over 35 years of litigation and trial experience before the courts in New York and New Jersey, has experience working with cases that include but are not limited to: Matrimonial Disputes (Divorce, Custody, Relocation, Support, Domestic Violence, etc.); Construction Defect, Real Estate and Property Disputes; Restrictive Covenants; Mortgage Fraud; Commercial Litigation and Collection; Commission and Non-compete Disputes; Dissolution of corporations and partnerships; Co-op and Condo Disputes; Estate Disputes; and other general grievances including personal injury and property damage. In addition, we have experience handling many transactional events which do not require Court intervention (i.e. "Attorney Review" of mediated agreements, real estate closings, contract drafting, loan restructuring, pre-nuptials, corporate formation and maintenance, etc.)  So whatever your needs might be, we have you covered.

other forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Mr. Milgraum has earned recognition of his peers and has been awarded the designation of "APM" ("Accredited Professional Mediator) by the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators ("NJAPM").  [See: Mediator Requirements and Application for Civil/Business (njapm.org)] Mr. Milgraum appears on the New Jersey State Court Roster of court-approved mediators having been educated, trained and qualified to provide services as a "Civil Mediator" and as a "Mediator for Economic Aspects of Family Law Cases" (including Domestic Violence) pursuant to New Jersey Rule 1:40.  [Civil Mediation | NJ Courts]  Mr. Milgraum appears on the New York State Court Roster pursuant to Part 146 of the Rules of the Chief Administrative Judge [PART 146. Guidelines For Qualifications And Training Of ADR Neutrals Serving On Court Rosters | NYCOURTS.GOV] governing Civil Mediators in and for the New York City Judicial Districts.  He appears on the Roster for "Matrimonial" actions for the five counties of New York City.  He also appears on the Rosters for "Commercial" matters, as well as the roster for "NYC Small Claims matters". 

In addition, Mr. Milgraum, having met individual state requirements, volunteers his time as an Arbitrator for attorney "Fee Disputes" hearings as an Attorney Panelist and/or Panel-Chair in both New Jersey and New York.

 

Mr. Milgraum is "Certified" by the Supreme Court of the State of Florida as a Family Mediator and civil "Circuit Mediator" (No. 41933 FR) in all judicial circuits of the state.  (Note: Mr. Milgraum is not admitted to the Florida Bar to practice law in the State of Florida.)

Mr. Milgraum is an educator with over 25 years of teaching experience.  He has taught real estate licensing courses for real estate salespersons and brokers at "Cornerstone School of Real Estate", "New York Real Estate Institute", and "New York University - Real Estate Institute".  In addition, he has taught paralegal and business studies at "Five Towns College" and "New York Paralegal School".  Mr. Milgraum participates as a "Mentor" for New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators' (NJAPM's) Apprenticeship Program and is the "Lead Facilitator" of NJAPM's "Consultation Hour" where mediators learn from other mediators.

 

Mr. Milgraum currently sits on the Board of NJAPM (New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators); and is also a member of the board of Sunfire High School.
